2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp salt
Egg roll wrappers
Vegetable oil ~ frying
1/3 cup cinnamon sugar
1/2 cup caramel + more for dipping
Direction/Instruction
- In a large skillet over medium heat, melt butter. Stir in apples, sugars, lemon juice, cinnamon & salt. Cook & stir often until apples have softened & mixture is jammy about 10 mins. Let cool slightly about 10-15 mins.
- Place an egg roll wrapper on a clean surface in a diamond shape & spread a layer of caramel in the center then spoon approximately 2 tablespoon apple mixture into a line on top of the caramel. Fold up bottom half & tightly fold in sides. Gently roll, then seal fold with a couple drops of water.
