Ingredients:
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup milk
2 eggs
2 tbsp ginger juice
Directions/Instructions:
- Grate fresh ginger and squeeze the grated ginger to get the juice.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together milk, eggs, and sugar until sugar is completely dissolved.
- Add the ginger juice to the egg mixture and whisk again.
- Strain into bowls/ramekins and cover each with aluminum foil.
- Prepare a steamer over medium heat. Steam the custard mixture until firm and fully cooked for about 20-25 mins but the steaming time depends on the bowl/ramekin so check the starting at around 15 mins.
